B2B Data Research & Email Verification for Reliable Deliverability

Data quality is a deliverability problem before it's a productivity problem. A list with a five percent bounce rate doesn't just waste sends — it tells mailbox providers that the sender doesn't know who they're mailing, and inbox placement falls for every message afterwards, including the good ones.

What b2b data research actually involves

Our verification runs in stages: syntax and domain checks, MX record validation, SMTP-level verification where the receiving server allows it, catch-all and role-account detection, and cross-checking the address pattern against confirmed addresses at the same company. Anything ambiguous is classed as risky and excluded rather than gambled on.

Beyond verification we clean the list itself: duplicate accounts merged, closed or acquired companies removed, generic info@ addresses separated from named contacts, and suppression applied for existing customers, opted-out contacts and competitors. The output is a smaller list that performs better than the raw one it came from.

Where this fits in our 6-step process

This is step four of the process delivered as a standalone service: verification and hygiene applied to a list, whether we built it or you did.

Who this is for

Teams sitting on an existing list of unknown quality — an old CRM export, a purchased database, a trade-fair scan — who need to know what's safe to mail before they damage a sending domain.

FAQ

B2B Data Research — questions buyers ask

What bounce rate should we be aiming for?

Comfortably under two percent, and ideally under one. Above roughly five percent, mailbox providers start treating the sender as careless and inbox placement degrades quickly.

Can you verify addresses at catch-all domains?

Catch-all servers accept everything, so SMTP verification proves nothing there. We fall back on pattern confirmation against known-good addresses at the same company and on how strongly the contact is corroborated elsewhere — and we mail catch-all contacts at lower volume and separately, so any problems stay contained.

Do you clean lists we already own?

Yes. We verify, de-duplicate, remove dead companies and split the list into safe-to-send, risky and drop segments, with the reasoning attached to each.

Does verification guarantee inbox placement?

No. Verification removes one major cause of poor placement; authentication, domain reputation, sending volume, content and complaint rate all still matter, which is why we manage them together.
